Sanctum comes from Latin, meaning
"a sacred place", a space of refuge, remembrance and protection.
Its vision is initiated by its speaker Bear Saorin, co-founded by Oana Sophia, and championed by Rick Barnes, Executive Officer of the nonprofit Organization.
Through pointers, practices, gatherings, shared inquiry, free resources, programs, and the 35-week Direct Path Masterclass, different ways of exploration and embodiment are offered.
Each experience is created to deepen the realization of the Oneness of all things within the individual expression of life–allowing presence, compassion, and clarity to permeate the unfolding of material reality.
As realization deepens, conditioned reactions begin to loosen their hold, creating more space for clarity, presence, compassion, and conscious response.
Life is experienced with greater freedom, intimacy, and trust in its unfolding–less bound by suffering and inherited patterns, and more fully lived as its magnificent mystery reveals itself.

The Direct Path begins with a radical recognition:
life is not divided into a separate observer and an external world.
What we call "self," "other," and "experience" arise within one indivisible field of awareness.
Rather than searching for truth through accumulation, belief, or becoming, the inquiry turns directly toward the nature of the one who is experiencing.
As the apparent distance between awareness and life begins to dissolve, reality is no longer encountered primarily through separation. The One Mind points toward this recognition of the One Self–not as a philosophy to adopt, rather as a living reality to be recognized, embodied, and expressed through the uniqueness of human life.
